What next?!?!?!?!?!

BJ and I have recently gotten hooked on a tv show, Chuck! If you are looking for a new show to get into next fall, Chuck would be what I'd recommend!! It's about a guy named Chuck who works at the Buy More (not to be mistaken with Best Buy!) He has an intersect in his head that causes him to "flash" on people or objects that help solve cases. Because of this intersect, he had to become a spy for the CIA. It's a good spy show that adds humor as well!!! We watched the Season Finale for Season 3 right before summer and that started it all! We joined Netflix so that we could watch all of Season 1 and 2 to get ready for the fall! We are pretty much addicted! We watch an episode every time I feed Olivia and sometimes we can't get enough with that, that we watch more! Well, we've flown through season 1 and 2 already and have the season finale for season 2 tonight! We're so sad that it is almost over. I need to find a way to watch season 3 online, so we can really be ready for season 4. So what next? Pretty soon, we will be finished with this "watch-a-thon" and only be able to watch it once a week. I need the excitement of watching another tv series. I know most of you don't comment on our blog...but I really need you to this time! Tell us what tv series we should get into next!! It's easy to comment. All you have to do is post and click on the spot to put your name...you don't even have to have a google account! Come on people, I need this!!!!

Could it be a tooth?!

We've heard for a few weeks now, "I think she might be teething!" but I've secretly thought...No, she just likes to slobber! Well, I'm pretty convinced that she is teething! Our sweet baby girl is always a perfect angel! Yesterday, she pretended to be a different baby. She refused to nurse, she was fussy all day, she didn't want to nap, etc. etc. This isn't like our angel! I took offense to her not wanting to nurse. It is a strange thing, but to think that your daughter doesn't want you, is so sad. I started researching "TEETHING" just to ease my mind. I found the top 5 signs of teething: Drooling, Gnawing, Crying, Fasting, and Waking. Duhhhhh...she fits this criteria to a T. Our little girl is teething. I can't feel anything in her gums yet, but she sure has loved the teethers that we bought her! It's good to know that there usually is something wrong when a good baby cries. This parenting thing can be crazy!

Busy day!

Today was quite the day! We decided to devote the day to family today! It all started at 10 a.m. We gathered the family up at went to the Oklahoma City bombing memorial. I can't believe it has already been 15 years. It still gives me such a sad feeling to see the effect. We walked around the outside were the building used to stand. Now, there are 168 chairs representing each person that lost their life. The inside museum lets allows you to relive April 19th from two minutes before the bomb went off to the end of the day. It is incredible how it displays the actual day. If you haven't seen it, it's worth the trip and the 10 bucks.

On a lighter note, Olivia and I didn't actually go in the museum because she had to eat. I had already been in, so it was no big deal. While I was feeding Olivia, I heard her poop! For those of you who have been around her when she does this, there is no mistaking it! I kept feeding her and all of the sudden, I felt something warm. I looked down and there was poop all over my pink skirt! I grabbed her burp cloth in a hurry and was trying to wipe it up. It was all over the place!! So I grab her, grab the huge stroller, try to cover the fact that my skirt now has baby poop all over it, and try to squeeze out the door to head to the restroom! We make it and I got her all cleaned up. Thank the Lord for baby wipes, because the bathroom had no paper towels. I used the baby wipes to clean up my skirt...so now my skirt is soaking wet, like I peed! I guess that is better than poop, right?! Luckily, it dried and was not noticeable by the time my family got out of the museum!

To end the day o' fun, we headed out to my Uncle Davids house to see our family! It was so great to see everyone! I feel so blessed to have such a fun extended family who all care about each other! I think all of the excitement wore Olivia out because she cried a lot of the night uncontrollably. I felt bad, because it was Olivia's first time to meet a lot of the family, but they reminded me that all babies cry. One of my aunts mentioned that she might be teething, so on the way home from Piedmont, we stopped to get some Oral gel. We think that Olivia is teething because it worked wonderfully! I don't want my baby to get teeth yet :(

In Oklahoma!!

Well, I know it's been a long time since we've updated last...but with good reason. We just got to Oklahoma and I wanted it to be a surprise at how big Olivia has gotten! But, I know that's not the greatest excuse because we could still post and just not put up pictures! So I guess the real reason is that we were so busy with family in Arkansas. It was a great stay! We spent the last month hanging out with family, painting, ripping down wallpaper, playing with the nephews, and walking around the lake! The entire family was together the last week! It's crazy how much family get togethers change when you only see eachother twice a year. It started out a couple of the sister-in-laws being pregnant. Next time, they have babies. Now they are both one and we have a baby. I made the comment that at Christmas, there is no telling what the family will look like!!! I'll post some pictures and narrate!!We actually got a picture of all of the grandkids on the Sanders side!! We had to snap it fast!!Daddy and Olivia time!!Olivia's been grabbing things! She got the brush and tried to brush her hair!Mimi and Big Papa with two of their grandkids! William wasn't used to babies at the beginning of the month and would try to hit Olivia! But by the end of the week, he would love on her and try to kiss her! (see first picture)!! It was cute! Here is the evidence of her taking the beating from her cousins! After getting bit, hit with a plastic baseball bat from the other cousin...she still looks happy!

Thanks Aunt Cyndi for making me a tutu!! I love it!! She makes them and is selling them if anyone is interested!! She can make any color or theme!!! Check out her website! http://frillythrill.web.com
