I know that it has been a while since I really updated you guys...I guess from summer! Things have been crazy busy since we've been back to Wisconsin! We joined leadership at our school and have had tons of training sessions lasting all day for 8 days. In that time span, was the camping trip that I previously posted about! Since that, we've had orientation for school and BJ has played in the worship band for that. And finally...we had our first day of class yesterday. I have been looking forward to classes starting again just to get back in a routine and start doing what we came here to do!
The classes are going to be great, I can already tell. Our fist class is Soteriology (the study of Salvation). We are going to get into deep discussions about salvation and what happens to those who never believe. The second class is Romans. I'm so much looking forward to this class because we are going verse by verse, sometimes word by word digging into the book of Romans. That is my schedule for the day, but BJ has 1 Peter and Job class. I am not taking those two because I am a mom! haha, but the childcare only is open until 11:30, then we have to pick up our babies. And yes, I said childcare. It was tough at first to leave sweet, little Olivia for 2 1/2 hours a day...but it is great. She has so much fun in there, mainly because she LOVES other kids! She also gets a lot of attention! It allows me to really focus on my classes without her cute self distracting me! So, it's really a good thing! BJ and I will whisper to each other during class how much we miss Olivia...it's so sweet!
I hope to post some cute pictures and videos of peek-a-boo and Olivia reading with daddy. We've had some really special mornings with her!!! The realistic thing is we are going to Alabama tomorrow for a family reunion and we have to do laundry, pack, and I have to feed her 3 more times today...so the pics and videos probably won' t make it there for a couple more days! Hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying the beautiful weather. Now, it's off to do mom things and fix lunch for BJ!!!

Camping trip
We spent this past week camping at Devil's Lake, Wisconsin! I don't mean camping...like staying in a cabin. No, I mean camping in a 2 person tent, on the ground, no air matress (Jeremy and Mandy), with a newborn! Some might say we're crazy...I think I might have to agree. It was actually funny. We went with our school for a leadership retreat.
We've told some of you that having a baby would not slow us down. Some of you might have laughed in the back of your heads saying "you just wait!" Well, I think we are prooving you wrong!! Our sweet baby girl was quite the trooper! She slept on the ground with mommy and daddy in our tiny tent! She went hiking to the top of the mountain and kept a smile most of the way...the other part, she was sound asleep! The trip went great! She had a rough time the first night, but by day 2, 3, and 4, she was totally adjusted! I have to be honest, I was a little nervous taking a 4 month old on a camping trip, but we had such a great time! We got to know a lot of the students on leadership a lot better. We also got to know our professors and staff better! I'm so glad that I didn't stay in my comfort zone for this trip!!

Unpacking and playing!
Many of you know from our last blog, that we are back in Waukesha!! We have spent the last several days unpacking and re-organizing! We've been having so much fun pulling out Olivia's toys, clothes, and play things that she got when she was born, but was too small for them. Here are some pictures of our fun week! I can't believe we are allowed to be parents!!
Olivia and daddy sitting next to each other...enjoying the morning!
Olivia trying out her new cloth diapers! She has turned into a ghetto booty baby! They make them so bulky!
Olivia loves her new bumbo! She can finally sit in it!
Olivia playing with ALL of her toys that she can finally play with! Daddy wanted her to see ALL of them! Poor baby!

Hello Waukesha!
So, we are finally back "home," although we're not really sure what or where home is! But we are glad to be back in our apartment. We are pretty exhausted from all the traveling!
We had fun visiting our family in Oklahoma, and we will write a longer blog later!
Congrats to Kevin and Erica on their new baby!! http://kevanderica.blogspot.com/
