Our New Home!

Well, we have officially moved to Missouri! We are excited to move on with our missionary training, while we enjoy living right on the Lake of the Ozarks!

Believe it or not, this is our front yard! Olivia loves pointing at the swings and squealing until we take her out there!Yes! Olivia has her own room now! Yippee! And of course, there is a crib awaiting little baby Sanders!

Olivia's room is so fru-fru, girly-girl, etc, etc, because Jill and her mom decorated it. They did a great job. BUT, If we have a boy in December, we are gonna be making some changes! That is for sure!

We love having our own bedroom... sadly this will only last until December when the new baby takes over our room....

This is our lovely living room!

We love our spacious kitchen... it kind of feels like we are on vacation compared to our last 400 sq foot apartment!

Packing, organizing, and going insane!!

We can start the count down today...10 more days until we move. As most of you know, we finished our 2 years of Bible study in Waukesha, Wi here at New Tribes. BJ and I were just talking today how incredible it was just to learn about the Bible more from start to finish. We both feel like we've learned so much about our identitiy in Christ and how wonderful and faithful He really is to us! We will be super sad to leave Waukesha; as we are leaving behind our church, our small group, our tight living community, our friends Mandy and Jeremy, and great restaurants and shopping within 10 minutes. The good thing is, we will be vacationing and moving to finish our training with New Tribes, so we can finally get overseas (Lord willing!) At the end, I'll post our tentative schedule.

So, with moving comes the dreaded packing and organizing...which leads to going insane. We are starting to get more organized. There for a while, we would start organizing things so that we could pack them, and Olivia would want to come and play with everything. So we started doing everything while she was napping in the afternoon. This got better, but how do we ever pack our room and my pack rat closet?! Things are better, I'm gaining sanity and I feel like we've finally made a dent on all of it. Anyways, I'll quit complaining. We are going to be renting the truck a week from tomorrow, loading it, cleaning our apartment, and heading out Saturday at 4 am. I get the priviledge to drive alone with Olivia while BJ drives the 26 foot Uhaul!! Don't freak out...we are splitting the 26 footer with 2 other families. wE are missionaries in training...we don't have that much stuff!!!

Our rough draft schedule: (in case you want to know)
June 25: Move to Camdenton, Missouri and unpack
June 30: Make our way to Destin, FL...only to stop in Hot Springs and visit the Pooles and Magnolia, AR to visit the Hambrices and their new baby!
July 2-9: Destin, FL-vacation with the Sanders!
July 10-16: Hanging out in Arkansas
July 16-23: Branson, MO-vacation with the Fourniers, ahah or whatever we call my side!
July 23 & 24: Mission focus at Northwest Community Church in Bella Vista!!
July 24ish to somewhere around the beginning of August: Hanging out in Oklahoma
Aug. something-Aug. 7ish: A few more days in Arkansas (making our way up to Missouri)
Aug. 7: Back in Candenton to start Missionary Training!

There you have it. I am sure some people don't really care to know our whole summer schedule, but we thought we would post it so you could see when we might be in your neck of the woods. Also, to let you know, BJ and I are starting to prayerfully seek partners to pray and financially give. If you are at all interested, please check our dates as to when we'll be around you and shoot us an email and tell us you'd like to meet with us and hear more about being partners with us in reaching a tribe with the Good News!! We are really excited about raising support and getting people on board to partner with us! I was just reading today that we New Tribes believes that the "sender" (financial supporter) and "prayer warrior" are just as much a part of God's global purpose as the missionary! Something to think about and get excited about!

If you are interested in meeting with us, please email us at frilljanks@gmail.com or bjillsanders@gmail.com . Hope to see you all in a couple weeks!

On the Move!!!

Hey yall! Well, we only have 2 weeks left in Waukesha, and it has gone by really quickly. We thought that 2 years sounded like a long time, but it has flown by for sure! BJ finished his last day of work yesterday, and now we have the task of packing... again. Does anyone know how many times we have moved since we got married??? (Not as many times as Chris and Cyndi, I think they have the record) But we are actually excited to move to Camdenton, MO, because we will be starting our missionary training with New Tribes; that is awesome!

Other exciting things in the news... Olivia is walking! Well, not on her own. She is pushing her walker, or lawn mower, as Mandy likes to call it. I hope you enjoy the video!

Funny story!

Lately, Olivia's sleep has been changing! Sometimes she will wake up and automatically start crying, and sometimes we will put her in her crib and she will play for about an hour before falling asleep. We've been getting used to it...however, we were not ready for what was about to happen!!! I will start and prep the story: We hear Olivia wake up on her monitor and we hear that she is playing, so we just let her play! After about 30-45 minutes, we have been hearing her crack up (let me inform you that we don't give her any toys to sleep with!) What could she be laughing that hard at?! So we have to go check it out! Let me also inform you, that we put her to bed fully dressed!"Olivia, where are your clothes?!!!" "Busted!!" She knew that exactly what she did, and she knew it was funny!!

"Yeah, you know you're cute!!! But how in the world did you get your dress off?!" She had to untied the shoulder straps and pull it off! Such a funny moment!!!

Baby Dedication

A couple of weeks ago, our church did a baby dedication. We decided to get involved with this and dedicate Olivia. It was such a special time. Our pastor does a great job and making it really special and meaningful to each baby! He holds each of the children and pray for them all differently. We then agreed that we would raise Olivia in a Godly way and pray for her...that she'll accept Christ at an early age! IT was a really special time! Here are some pictures:

Here are our friends that came and supported us! Nora, on the left, actually got dedicated with Olivia! They are great friends!

My Sweet baby!!! We are so proud of the little girl that she is becoming! She's almost walking. She just started pulling up on everything and cruising! I don't think that it will be long! And most of you know, but she will be a big sister in December! The due date is December 17th, but we will do it a week or so early because of the c-section. We are super excited to grow our family!
