Senior Banquet!

When you're training to be a missionary, you don't really have many times or occasions to dress up. Most of my friends are married (not all!!), no more prom, no work parties, etc. So last weekend became a special occasion. We are finishing up our last semester at New Tribes Bible Institute and will be graduating in one short month. Our school recognizes the seniors by throwing them a banquet where they serve really nice food, and it gives us a chance to dress up! Some of the other students in the school served us all night. It really was a blessing. We also had a time where we shared where the Lord is taking us after Bible school, and what He had taught us. We aren't ones for getting all mushy, mushy...so we wrote a poem about all the things that nobody ever told us about New Tribes. It was rather humorous!! I would post it, but it really wouldn't make much sense or be funny to anyone outside of this bubble!! So anyways, this is my hunk (above!) and me dressed for the big night out!! It was a night to remember. I will leave with my quote of the night: "Only at New Tribes, do people eat the table center pieces."
